On April 2, 2018, ePerformax Contact Centers and BPO operation went live in Pueblo de Panay Township, Roxas City.
ePerformax Contact Centers & BPO, a Performance Consulting Group (PCG) company, was one of the first contact centers in the Philippines in 2002 and has primarily focused its operations on providing the highest levels of customer service and BPO to a select group of Fortune 500 and other global companies to support their English-speaking customers in the U.S., Canada, UK, Australia/New Zealand, China, and other locations around the globe. The company utilizes voice, email, chat and social media to handle customer interactions that include customer service, inbound sales and order entry, billing/account support, technical support, product/service support, website navigation support, and travel reservations, along with non-voice BPO activities to support clients’ comprehensive outsourcing requirements. Their operation in ePerformax Center in Pueblo de Panay Township is their third site in the country.
Pueblo de Panay Township, on the other hand, is the largest township development in Central Visayas. A 670-hectare flagship project of Pueblo de Panay, Incorporated (PDPI), it was master planned by Surbana Jurong, a Singaporean government-owned consultancy company focusing on infrastructure and urban development. A mixed-use, master planned, and Filipino-inspired township located in the Seafood Capital of the Philippines, Roxas City, it has designated areas for different uses seamlessly integrated to one another. On April 2, 2018, just before their operation went live for the first time, ePerformax Roxas held a small blessing for their site. It was also a "Welcome home" party for their employees from Capiz and other places in Panay Island who were previously sent to Manila for training and operations. Their families, too, were invited, so that they can witness all the good that their sacrifice has done for the community. “After seeing the pride in the faces of our employees and their family members during our welcome home reception and blessing, it made me realize how the endless hours of planning, partnering and executing were worth it. This would not have been possible without the trust of the people we relocated to Manila for extensive training, their understanding and supportive families, the partnership with the Ong family, and the rest of the PdP team who helped make this vision a reality,” says Michael Tanner, Vice President of ePerformax Contact Centers and BPO.
In his speech during the site blessing, Pueblo de Panay CEO Bub Ong's message to the ePerformax employees was simple: "I encourage you to do your best at work.
